Are you Breathing? For real? Then it’s not to late for you to start over, try again, hit the reset button, blow it all up and start building anew…well, you get the idea, right?
I think that, sometimes, the hardest part of starting over is the fact that we spend so much time and energy trying to make it work. While this may be true, the great part is that we have learned so much in that effort. No one said that when we start over we have to throw away all the effort that it took to get where we got! That’s a misconception!
No matter what we put our hands too, it is a valuable life experience. Just because it didn’t get us where we thought it would doesn’t mean that we haven’t grown through the process. Every minute, every breath, every tear, every idea, every triumph, every breathtaking moment…they are ours to learn from, grow and readjust.
One of the popular sayings in the church world is…don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. Or chew on the meat and spit out the bones. There are parts to every day that will be successful, get okay results or are a nose dive into the toilet. It doesn’t cost anything to evaluate the processes along the way.
If it gets to be too much, remember … Life has a reset button…its called tomorrow.
